Even when extremely busy I have been greeted politely by staff. They pay attention to your order. And you actually receive what you order which as simple as it sounds is not common these days. The sandwich I had was excellent and ingredients were fresh. The deli meats I ordered were nicely packaged. Baked goods were also first class. Definitely value for money and great service. Would recommend this bakery and look forward to returning. It does get busy on the weekends! Keep up the good work.

This is such a great bakery from breads, so many sweets to choose from and deli meats and sandwiches. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Best bakery around! Fresh bread and tasty /homemade cookies, pies, and pastries! The lava cake is always a hit!

If you're looking for great desserts and a delicious sandwich, this is the place to go. They have a fantastic bakery offering lots of cakes, cookies & breads, as well as a sandwich counter that also has sone homemade salads. Today I had the #28- grilled eggplant, arugula, mozzarella & I subbed sun dried tomatoes for roasted red peppers. Comes with a drizzle of balsamic. You can get a small , half and full ( bread was so tasty- crisp on outside & chewy on inside- the way it should be). They also do wraps . For dessert I had some double layer hazelnut cream triangles- they prob have a specific name but I have no idea. There was so much to choose from. At any rate they were delish too !! Although I went at lunchtime there wasn't a long wait. Pretty much got my order in about 5 minutes after I walked in and was able to peruse the desserts while my sandwich was being made. If you're in the mood for a great sandwich that won't empty your bank account and/or a great dessert, make your way to Sorrento.

How I miss this place! Simply the best Italian bakery in New Jersey in my opinion. The 'cat tongue' cookies are out of this world. I know that sounds weird but trust me you MUST try these!! Everyone who works there is very friendly and welcoming & the ingredients are very high-quality. I stopped by a couple times during my recent visit back East and everyone I brought goodies to remarked how incredibly delicious everything was.

So I used to have a personal preference of never ordering sandwiches outside of a Hudson County deli, but this place floored me in the best way. Food: I ordered a roast beef and mozz sandwich which was surprisingly tasty. I add hot peppers instead of roasted red peppers which was also an insanely smart decision. Most importantly, the bread was outstanding. Aesthetic: Nice spread of package goods on shelves lined the floor that made its way to the deli area, and I love the fact that they have three separate areas which includes the deli, bread, and sweets/baked goods. Service: the guy who helped me at the counter was super cool and double checked with me while working on everything I ordered, which I greatly appreciate from a deli.

Good bakery with a Great variety of pastries. They also have some Italian classics that you can't get elsewhere so it is pretty authentic. Place can get busy around lunch time and what not. They also have breads and lunch foods. Come here for your Italian fix!!

Wow and yes wow . A great real authentic Italian bakery in every sense. The Italian round bread was amazing and the Zeppole de San Giuseppe were outstanding. Although we live in Somerset County, we will again visit this great establishment. To the owners, 'Bella Cose'!
